1. What Arena is — and isn't

Ardonis Arena is software for running private sports pick'em pools: it records picks, scores games, tracks standings, and does the arithmetic on how a pool splits its pot. That is all it is. Arena is not a sportsbook and not a betting service: we do not offer or accept wagers of any kind, we do not set odds, and we are not a party to any agreement between you and your pool members.

Arena never handles money. We do not collect, hold, process, or pay out entry fees, prizes, or any other funds — ever. We take no rake, no cut, and no percentage of any pool. Any money in your pool moves directly between you and your members.

2. Entry fees and payouts are yours

If your pool has entry fees, you — not Arena — collect them and pay out winnings. A payment link shown in a pool (a Venmo, Zelle, or similar URL) is supplied by that pool's commissioner. It is a third-party service we do not control, and using it is strictly between the commissioner and the members.

All payout figures Arena shows are estimates for your private pool — a running calculation of how the pot divides under the rules the commissioner set. They are information, not invoices, and they represent no obligation owed by Arena.

3. Your side of it

By using Arena you confirm that:

  • Your pool's entry fees and prizes — and your participation in them — are legal where you and every member of your pool live. You are responsible for knowing this, not Arena.
  • You are of legal age to participate in your pool where you live.
  • If you are a commissioner, you will be the one collecting and paying out your pool's money, and you will not charge members more than the pool's actual entry fees — no skimming the pot through Arena.

Arena pools are private and invite-only by design. Keep them that way: pools open to the general public are outside what this service is for.

4. If a pool causes a problem

Your pools are your responsibility. If your pool's stakes, prizes, or conduct draw a claim or an investigation, that is between you and whoever raised it — you agree to hold Ardonis LLC harmless from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from the pools you run or join.

5. The software itself

Arena is provided as-is. We work hard on the scoring and the math, but scores, lines, and payout figures depend on third-party data we do not control, and we do not guarantee the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the fullest extent the law allows, Ardonis LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability arising from your use of Arena is limited to the amount you paid us — which, since Arena charges nothing, is zero.

6. Accounts and conduct

Keep your credentials to yourself, give us a real email address (password resets and pool deadlines go there), and don't use Arena to harass members, spam invite codes, or run anything other than a private pool. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service.

7. Changes and the fine print

We may update these terms as the product changes; the effective date above moves when we do, and continued use after a change means you accept it. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. If any clause here turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still stands.
